There were at least five bullet holes in the driver’s-side window of the Infiniti as police collected evidence Monday, video from the scene showed. A Nike Air Max shoe sat next to the car by an evidence marker, the LA Times reports.

If you're trying to blame this incident on gun control or gun laws in California by implying that they'd have had a gun otherwise, or that it wouldn't have happened if they would have had one, I'm not buying it.

It sounds like the shooter snuck up and took them by surprise.

The more logical view is that if we had never allowed so many guns to be manufactured, sold and owned in this country, most of this mass gun violence wouldn't be happening.

The incident happened because of gangs.

The anti-gun laws simply did absolutely nothing to prevent the incident.

But gun laws aren't meant to reduce violent crime, they are meant to disarm the victims.

Simple logic tells people of normal intelligence that if there were fewer guns available to shoot people with, there would be fewer people getting shot.

There would be virtually no armed robberies or drive by shootings.

Almost all the violence in this country is because of guns.

Anyone can see that.

Almost all the violence in these major blue cities is because of blacks. Remove the blacks and there would be virtually no violence


Whites have the same access to these guns that the blacks do but it's the blacks that are committing virtually all the violece with the guns



Norway and Finland have similar levels of gun ownership, but far less gun crime.....almost no blacks in the country

Same amount of guns

Blacks are committing 75% of the shootings

Guns were far more readily available and far easier to get when I was in my teens and early 20's, and there was less gun violence. That is a fact you cannot refute. Period.

43,375 people die by guns in an average year.

If blacks commit somewhere around 50% of violent gun related crimes, and you eliminated them from the US population, there would still be over 21,000 violent gun crimes annually committed by whites, Hispanics and others.

That's still too much.

Norwegian and Finnish people have a different mentality ND culture than Americans.

They weren't raised on violence as entertainment on TV and in movies the way Americans were.

They don't have it ingrained in their consciousness that violence is a way to solve problems or a means to an end.

I don't know when you were in your teens, but when I was in my teens in the 70's, they were not as easily accessible nor anywhere near as plentiful as they are today.

In the 70's (and 80' and 90's) you NEVER heard of school shootings and other mass shootings like you do today.

That is a fact you cannot refute. Period.
