First Lady tests positive for COVID

I have been warning for about two years that COVID could still turn into a mass casualty event with lethal strains as Geert has long predicted.

He has rarely been wrong on this bug.
 
Hopefully she gets better. I wish her a speedy recovery. Werent Joe's EXACT words that if you get the vax you wont get covid? Why yes,...yes they were.
 
So, we're STILL going w/ the "vaccines don't work because people still get it" thing? Even after EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY has stated that the vaccine doesn't necessarily prevent transmission?

Pretty sure NONE of the conservative leaning posters in here will wish her to die like so many of the left did when ANYONE not left got sick. That was some evil stuff back then. Hard to live down.

I have no idea, and don't really care. But when did he say that? A lot of shit was said early on that didn't pan out, which I don't treat as a "gotcha" like so many lunatic righties do. Because, ya know, it was a new virus & all, and even the pro's were learning as it moved along.
 
From what I have been reading of late it seems this new strain is particularly hard on those who were vaccinated. Hmmm....A flu that attacks the vaccinated????? :thinking:

It wouldn't be shocking. I'm as far from an expert on this stuff as one could imagine - but things like this do adapt in response to whatever defenses we come up with.

It's what makes some viruses very pesky.

It's really not a lie. I don't remember him making that kind of definitive statement about the vax.

But I didn't sift through that stuff with a microscope like so many did. It was a pandemic. I trusted the experts (not the politicians - the experts).
 
Healthy young people that were vaxed have been dropping likes flies for 3 years now. All over the world. People can lie about it all they want to but in the end the Truth always has a way of coming out. Hard lessons coming I fear..
 
Looked it up - Biden did say that in 2021. Dumb thing to say, and it looks like he caught quite a bit of criticism for it from the media & medical community.

For years now, it is accepted and known that the vaccine does NOT prevent transmission. It's not some big revelation.
