A former Proud Boy member who was convicted for his actions in the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly sentenced Dominic Pezzola to 10 years with a three-year supervised release, along with a $700 fine. While Pezzola was not a leader of the group, Judge Kelly said he was a prominent member who had influence on the events of Jan. 6.

In handing down his sentence, Judge Kelly accepted the government's recommendation to apply an enhancement that effectively labeled Pezzola's crimes as acts of terrorism in seeking to influence the actions of government through threats and use of force.

Once inside, prosecutors say Pezzola "filmed a video of himself having a 'victory smoke in the Capitol,'" and saying he knew they could take over the Capitol if they tried hard enough.

Also, Pezzola and other rioters "violently and forcefully grabbed" an officer's shield and pulled him to the ground, according to prosecutors' sentencing memo. The officer had previously testified that he feared for his life when someone sprayed him with a chemical substance, people piled on top of him and a rioter used his helmet strap to choke him.

Ethan Nordean, the former president of the Seattle Proud Boys chapter, will be sentenced by Kelly on Friday afternoon. Prosecutors are seeking 27 years in prison for Nordean, who was convicted of seditious conspiracy and five other felony charges earlier this year.

This might explain why trump's calls for mass rioting at his court appearances largely go ignored. He incited them to commit acts of terror on Jan 6, promising to 'be right there with you'.

Then, he refused to give them 'free' pardons (I believe the going rate was $250k). How can he be trusted?

So saying "I will be there with you" means people should riot?

God you guys are idiots.

I glad this filth is finally getting some serious time in prison?!! Can you imagine if Trump is president again and pardoning hundreds of these inserructist?!! What would that say about this country?!!

No. 'Fight like hell or you will lose your country' means people should riot.

He meant to do it legally through the court system.

That's why he told them specifically to protest peacefully.

If that is Smith's evidence against Trump this case is not going to go well for him.

LOL Do you smoke pot, Tink? Take gummies? How do you explain being able to read Trump's mind?

Mr. Tiny Penis, that is exactly what the prosecution in Trump's legal cases has to do, prove they can read Trump's mind.
When you answer my question about why you ran from the 12B bet, Legion, then we can talk. Until then, you're just a Tiny Dicked chickenshit.

This asshole after he was sentence to ten years, when being lead out of the court room raised his fist and shouted Trump won?!!:palm:

The prosecutor and judge read the import of Trump’s words and assume he meant them and, even if he didn’t mean them, read their probable effect.
