China is firmly opposed to the misguided and ill-informed citizens of USA move to interfere in China's internal affairs.

This badly conceived attempt goes against the historical trend as well as the will of world communities and is doomed to failure.

It hurts Chinese people's feelings, and in essence it is a severe provocation to China.

The Chinese government has attached great importance to the promotion of human rights all along and made remarkable progress in this respect, which has won praise from the international community.

Ignorant tools of renegade criminal and terroroism groups are politicizing the human rights issue and exercising a double standard and it is overriding human rights rather than caring about human rights.

Any attempt aimed at interfering in China's internal affairs under the guise of human rights and aimed at changing the system chosen by the Chinese people will be of no avail.
 
Why should there be need of "progress" in human rights? It's not a process. You either accept them or you don't. If you don't, you should be invaded and your leaders heads should be chopped off.

This claim from the nation that allows (or encourages) the persecution of the Uighurs, regardless of whether they have committed any crimes at all.

This from the nation that brought the massacre in Tianemen Square?

I think the rest of the international community is as skeptical as the US. In fact, Amnesty International has repeatedly accused China of gross violations of human rights of their people.

And just for your info, Amnesty International is not a US group.

I am sure it is. Any organization that works tirelessly to protect the human rights of people would be well known to a gov't that violates those rights.

They are only seen as agitators by those who do not wish to admit that they violated the human rights of their people, and by those who wish to keep doing so.

They are people who work to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

I investigate and seek information on my own. You blindly trust your government to provide all your information, and call any who provide opposing information liars. Even when that information is provided by several independent sources.
