“He is toast”: Legal experts call out Mark Meadows’ “incriminating admission”

No he didn't, you could have listed them it less words than it took you to write this bullshit but you can't because he made none.

I don't think you even know what constitutes a threat in a court of law.

I do indeed, Stephanovich. Enjoy.

Threat means a statement of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage, or other hostile action to cause fear of harm. The intention may be communicated through an electronic, written, verbal, or physical act to cause fear, mental distress, or interference in the school environment. The intention may be expressly stated or implied and the person communicating the threat has the ability to carry out the threat.

A president of the United States telling a state's official in charge of elections that he could be arrested for "illegal" activities if he doesn't find him some votes is clearly a threat to reasonable people.* It's also despicable, unethical, criminal behavior which you apparently support. Sick.

Meadows testified that he recommended Trump reach out to Georgia Secretary of State Chief Investigator Frances Watson, on which Trump falsely claimed that he won the state by "hundreds of thousands of votes."

"In his own words, that is an incriminating admission that he recommended Trump make the call to Watson that is part of the alleged conspiracy," Goodman wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Meadows also acknowledged that he had "no reason to doubt" then-Attorney General Bill Barr's conclusion that the fraud claims were meritless.

Meadows later testified that he set up Trump's infamous call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to find a "less-litigious way of resolving" the fraud concerns but claimed he could not remember details for arranging for attorney Cleta Mitchell and two other Trump campaign lawyers to be on the call.

lol that's not what Trump said.

Trump said if he did illegal activity he could be arrested, which is true of everyone but he never threatened him with arrest if he didn't find the votes.

Read the transcripts.

Trump was suggesting that Georgia perform a legal recount, which is his right, if Georgia didn't comply then yes, they could be charged with a crime.

Care to wager on the outcome, Tink?

I will absolutely wager on that.

What do you want to bet?

12B bet. I'm betting Trump will be disqualified from running for President. You're saying it's all bullshit and that he'll be the nominee at the Republican Convention next July.

Loser has to publicly post a blatant 12B violation, written by the winner via PM, against Damo. I have some really juicy ideas.

You are sick.

Why would I ever make a comment about a minor.

Forget your stupid deal you freak.

I've been ripped off by too many liars claiming to bet $10,000 or some other bullshit then never pay off.

Damo isn't a minor, sweetcheeks.

Good call on your part because you're going to lose, dear. Let's just call it a gentleman's agreement. :)

How about the loser leaves the forum and never posts here again?

Hello Tinkerpeach,

He did absolutely nothing illegal in the Georgia case.

It's all bullshit to stop him from campaigning.

The charges are extensive and backed up by solid evidence. He is likely going to be found guilty. Prosecutors have a high success rate.

Donald's wrongdoing in trying to overturn the GA election results is comprised of many crimes. Law breaking cannot be ignored even if the defendant is a popular figure or a previous president. Wrong is wrong. Law breaking is law breaking. And to do it right out in the open is to invite prosecution. Willis had no choice but to seek to have a grand jury of his peers indict him. And they did. He is in big trouble this time. It looks like Donald is headed for prison.

This country needs to see that the law stand for something, that no person, no matter how rich or powerful, is above the law.

Trump in prison will be a huge uplifting event for America. People will have more respect for government and institutions when they see criminals properly dealt with and no favoritism.
