Why is banning guns more important than mental health? Only about 50% of suicides involve guns. Why don't Democrats give a shit about the other 50% who don't use guns?

Everyone can easily guess why the Republicans don't give a shit. LOL

Gun bans won’t do the job, but in depth background checks, including disability roles, mental health screening, registration (is there a disabled or person with mental health problems or substance abuse in your household?), that type of thing

Agreed which is why the fact Democrats focus on guns, especially ARs which are rarely used in suicides, instead of mental heathcare is so puzzling.

Again, you only care about those who commit suicide with a gun, not those like Robin Williams and Anthony Bourdain who do not since there is no mental health screening to buy neck ties and rope.

Disagreed, but that is the Democrat standard rhetoric.

There's no requirement for Democrats to give a shit about the mentally ill and the 25,000 Americans who take their own lives every year without using a firearm. TBH, I expect it since the Democrats are more about controlling people, not saving them.

Democrats prioritize banning guns over mental health care. I've always said that because it's true. Democrats focus upon banning guns and using gun suicides as part of their reasoning.

Don't believe me? Point out the threads started by Democrats addressing all suicides in America and I'll match you 2 for 1 on threads started by Democrats on gun control/banning.
