a bow and arrow are weapons................in other words, 'arms'. It should also concern you why it is that democrats do not want our future generations to learn how to survive if times get hard and they need to hunt or fish for food during difficult times.

They'll whine and fuss about anything other than real issues that most citizens must deal with. That's because they have absolutely no solutions to our national problems, and no desire to work with "the other side" to solve those issues.

That being said, I was overjoyed in my senior year in h.s. when we were finally allowed to choose what sports/activities we could do in the mandatory PE classes. There was archery, golf, tennis, swimming. I picked archery, something I'd already been doing for years on my own. It was real archery, with recurve bows, rather than those ugly compound hunting things.
 
God forbid kids being taught safety and coordination. My high school had a rifle club.

is there a school out there that hasn't added English and Math to their curriculum yet???? As far as every town having a grocery store, maybe you didn't have to worry about your local store in your wealthy area not having any food, but out here where i'm at, there were a lot of empty shelves.........I also remember the covid panic buying that left stores with no water, no paper towels, no toilet paper, and worst of all, no baby formula.............maybe that's because you 'wealthy' fucks bought it all up?

Archery as a target sport is one thing,

but bows and arrows are not a humane way to kill animals, even if you actually eat them afterward.

We don't allow hunting with fully jacketed military bullets because the animals bleed out and die slowly.

What kind of fucking asshole would shoot a deer with an arrow in the third fucking millennium?

I have no problem with shooting MAGA assholes with any kind of weapon,
but less deplorable animals deserve more consideration.

How in the hell does archery teach coordination?

Using that logic, they could teach everyone how to play pinball to sharpen hand and eye reflexes

With all the hurdles education has to face on a daily basis I don’t think teaching archery is a priority to spend money on, and cutting funds for archery certainly isn’t a Second Amendment issue

As part of a PE program, meaning funded out of PE money, not a separate courses funded on its own

And as a side one, I think PE is a waste of money, throwback to the early 20th Century

And forget the Robinson Crusoe bit, why is it everyone on the right always feel they are victims, with your county bumpkin ways you couldn’t have survived in my neighborhood growing up, seen that first hand when I entered the service

discipline kids like they did us. Touch one and you're looking at years in jail. These days, all kids want

(Heck even the private schools are having ridiculous issues... one of the most expensive exclusive schools here refuses to play the national anthem at home games and as you might expect that is not going over well with quite a few parents it'll be an interesting year they have a new Headmaster...;))
