When Trump is hit in the pocket book, that stings him the most.

This investigation, if it leads to charges, would seize and hold all the Funds in the 'Save America PAC' while the trial was ongoing, to ensure funds were preserved and as much as possible could be returned, should the government win. The same thing forfeiture the Mueller team used to tie up funds while the case went thru the courts.

That would be a massive blow to Trump, losing his legal defense funds and being forced to actually pay his own bills, and losing the PAC with his helping fund his campaign.

FWIW, this case likely would not be brought against Trump directly, as the one in NYS against the Trump Org were not.

You think trump needs campaign funds to win an election? Even you can't be THAT stupid can you?

Ahahahaha.

You stupidity knows no bounds.

What i KNOW is Trump thinks he needs to spend campaign funds to win or he would keep every penny and use it just for legals and personally, such as buying Melania more outfits.

Anyway hurry up and donate. Don't make Lindsey cry again.

I never give to any candidate. Thats a fools errand. I bet you've given though

The amount of campaigning you morons are doing for trump is better than anything he could pay for.

So, what you are saying here--and it is likely true more than not--is the government prosecutors should seek to ruin, or take away, a defendant's monetary ability to defend themselves from charges brought. That is to say, they lose either way. That is horribly egregiously wrong. The government should not be able to economically destroy anyone in the pursuit of justice.

I couldnt agree more but do you think thats what they are doing here? "Pursuing justice"? I didn't think so. Not with this defendant at least. I truly believe they would destroy America if it meant they could "get trump".

In Trump's case, no. They are trying to make it impossible for him to run. Tie him up in court, drain him economically, you-name-it. The whole point of the exercise is to stop him from running. This is a political persecution, not so much a criminal investigation. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump is hit with several more cases and they start ticketing him for jaywalking...

Whenever someone is accused generally of having taken other peoples money via fraud, the courts will freeze that money until the case is decided.

Otherwise the person is found guilty but makes sure they spend every penny along the way. They tell their lawyers they can bill the max and they will not dispute it, etc.

No.

That is what McCarthy and Comer admitted to with the 'Investigations' into Hilary and now Joe. Pure political theatre where they know they have no evidence or guilt and just want to smear them with the doubt caused by accusations.

In Trumps case the crimes are clear, and will be prosecuted and he will be convicted.

Pointless to debate the Trump is Messiah crowd.

I know.

That is why we let the courts speak with boatloads and boatloads of convictions.

While the right derps have boatloads and boatloads of investigations that go no where. Nothingburgers.

And yet they say we are the ones weaponizing this? FLOL.
