Can candidates never be charged?

Is it the position of MAGA that ex-Presidents can never be charged with crimes...
or that Candidates can never be charged with crimes?

Are wealthy people above the law?
Are famous people above the law?

Are candidates above the law?

If so, are we a Democracy?

No
You may mean are a county of rule of law

Whats most disgusting about you people isnt that you want to "get trump". I get that he scares the shit out of you. It's the mantra "above the law" that gives you away. No, the most disgusting thing about you people is you really seem to think people believe you actually care about things like the rule of law and democracy. Normal people know better. But you keep peddling the same shit like we're stupid.

I want Trump to be held accountable for his crimes. It is important because he is publicly committing a crime and we need to make sure powerful people are shown to not be above the law.

There is that mantra again. That's the tell.

Clearly they can be.

More often than not, yes.

Are candidates above the law?

Depends on their political party, now doesn't it?

No, we've never been a "Democracy." The US is a republic using a representative democracy in part.

We need to ask why the DOJ will not prosecute or indict a sitting President. Not only is it not in the Constitution, but it actually opposes the Constitution's principle of the rule of law.

We do not have a monarchy. The President is not a king.

Trump announced a presidential run earlier than anyone ever had. He did nothing for a long time. He figured running gave him protection. Trump simply shows us he is guilty and running from justice.

This is something Bob Mueller made up- Pulled it right our of his ass!

Because no where in the Constitution does it say a president or a candidate for president is above the law and cannot be arrested!

Not sure why Bob Mueller made this up- but he is a RepubliTARD yanno? Yes, pretty much explains that!

Republitards read things in the Constitution that just aren't there - like AR -15's, abortion, Gerrymandering, Get-Outta-Jail-Free Cards for presidents, swapping out legitimate delegates for fake ones, and etc.

Their Messiah answered the question years ago

I think it's just an understanding that doing so would make us look incredibly weak. At least Nixon knew when the jig was up and resigned, I don't think any modern politician would be reasonable enough to do that.

Weak in what way? It's weak to be a law abiding nation?!

I say that in the sense that the Good-Old Boys club of high politics might see a chaotic transition period of unsure leadership as a weak point. I personally would see it as rightful justice, and holding ourselves to a high standard.
