Exec says stores are done with Bud Light

Which part did I get wrong? I never said that AB makes money on US sales of Modelo. I said AB/InBev owns Modelo and distributes everywhere but the US.

And you are wrong.

AB doesn't own the US portion of Modelo, they sold it due to a lawsuit.

Brands are split up into different regions and they are all essentially their own companies who pay a fee to the parent company for being able to sell their brand.

They are franchises essentially.

Modelo US has nothing to do with AB.

I'm usually a Guinness Extra Stout guy with my moderate beer drinking,

but right now, I've got something altogether different--Sam Adams Summer Ale.

It's less filling and very refreshing in the hot weather months.

I liked it because it didn't have a strong taste to it.

I didn't drink it to get drunk, it was for social gatherings.

There is also no aftertaste to it unlike coors or miller.

These are valid reasons to choose a beer.

I know better alternatives if those are the desired criteria, however.

I drink Busch or Busch Light after working in the garden for a couple of hours. Tastes more like water than beer but it’s far more refreshing than say a craft brewed amber and it’s cheap. It’s almost impossible to get drunk on it.

I like Busch also and yes, that's why I drink it.

It's refreshing and doesn't really get you buzzed unless you pound them I guess.

If I were going out partying I would usually drink a Guiness or something.

Possibly, but when you are at a softball game for your company the options are usually limited.

lol

That's very true.

We used to have a big cookout after our annual local union golf outing. [144 players in the field plus support volunteers.]
There were huge stainless steel kegs of beer, one of them being Bud Light.
That's the tap that we used to wash our hands. True story.

The highest that I ever finished in the tournament was 18th for whatever that's worth.

I almost turned pro in golf.

I got beat one day by a 14 year old and said, I don't really have the skill.

I was a scratch handicap however.
