They would not have needed any troops if Trump had not lied to his supporters and they had not believed the voter fraud lies. Those people should never have attacked the Capitol and assaulted police officers. To blame that on not having troops is avoiding responsibility for their own actions.

Trump never offered the troops. He told (Miller?) he might need that many. Nobody ever requested the troops. Watch the hearings.

Pelosi never rejected the troops. She has no authority to do that. During the riot she was on the phone trying to get the general in charge to send troops.

I said people were being beaten & killed. MANY people were being beaten. Ashli Babbit was killed. More died after the event, likely as a result of the event.

What point are you trying to make there, volsrock? That Trump was a great leader for watching that chaos unfold for 3 hours, while people were being beaten & killed, when he could have stopped it anytime?
