A trump kinda guy

KALAMAZOO—A Republican running to be Michigan’s top law enforcement official was fired from a law firm in 2005 after colleagues alleged he “padded” client billings for personal and professional benefit, according to court records reviewed by Bridge Michigan.

Matt DePerno, an attorney general candidate endorsed by former President Donald Trump, sued the firm over his firing and denied the allegations in court. But he told Bridge he cannot discuss details because of a confidential settlement.

A lawyer who got fired for stealing from clients

You fucking Russians have no idea what justice actually is

They were simply checking to see if the machines had been tampered with in any way.

Sure they took them illegally but not for illegal purposes, they just didn't know they couldn't do that.

This is hardly a serious crime.

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A former Republican attorney general candidate and another supporter of former President Donald Trump have been criminally charged in Michigan in connection with accessing and tampering with voting machines after the 2020 election, according to court records.

Matthew DePerno, a Republican lawyer who was endorsed by Trump in an unsuccessful run for Michigan attorney general last year, was charged with undue possession of a voting machine and conspiracy, according to Oakland County court records.

Daire Rendon, a former Republican state representative, was charged with conspiracy to commit undue possession of a voting machine and false pretenses. A lawyer listed on court documents as representing Rendon could not be immediately reached for comment by phone.

Prison time is coming for them

Only in russia

Did they break the law, yes, but their intentions were good which were to verify that the machines were operating properly and hadn't been tampered with.

True, they weren't professionals and should be held accountable for the law they did break but it hardly deserves any jail time.

Give them a little fine or something.

Stupidity is not a defense

The vote was already over, they were taking them apart looking for evidence of tampering.

Or installing "evidence" of tampering. The point is taking unauthorized possession of a post election voting machine is a crime. Amazing a lawyer would do this, sending his career up in flames aside from whatever other punishment he receives.

They aren't being charged with installing evidence, only taking them.

They were checking them.

There is no good excuse for stealing election equipment and tampering with it

They probably didn't know but that's fine, it's a minor crime.

They weren't trying to rig the machines to change votes.

But you're right, the fucked up and broke the law by taking them.

They wanted to change the results of an election

So they committed crimes

This crime is massive folks

Remember this is in essence the same crime as in Ga

How many states are going to end up inducting more Republican criminals
