Agreed on gutless. To be an Air Force officer and an Air Traffic Controller requires a large amount of moxie....something Earl no longer exhibits. IMO, something tragic happened to him such as driving drunk into a tree without a seat belt, drowning and resuscitated too late or adult onset mental illness. He doesn't exhibit any of the traits required to be an American military officer nor an ATC.
