Interesting point in the Hunter plea deal

What the prosecution--and this had to be with the knowledge and agreement of their bosses, including Garland--was this:

They made a plea deal for Bagman to get two minor misdemeanors for tax evasion with no time served, just some probation. To deal with the felony gun charge, they drew up a diversion agreement that was supposed to keep that out of court. But they also needed a mechanism in all of this to immunize Bagman from further prosecution of any of the other shit he's done. So, they tossed that into the diversion agreement to keep it out of court... except they had to put mention of it into the plea agreement to get his tax charges covered by that immunity deal.

That's where the judge comes in. All of a sudden she was like What the fuck is this? I'm supposed to sign off on the plea agreement but not the diversion agreement that you made me a party to? Is that even legal?

The prosecution sheepishly admitted it wasn't, and suddenly the defense attorneys were like, Hey, if this package deal isn't going to fly 100%, we're outta here! The worst part in all this is that the prosecution then tries to make the defense's case for going through with the deal. When the hell has a prosecutor ever switched sides in a court hearing? Talk about total collusion...

It's all the True Believers on the Left that can't accept that Bagman and Joke, his daddy who they like for being politically of like mind, are bigtime criminals taking payola, bribes, kickbacks, doing money laundering, and who-knows-what, but they can accept that Trump, who they despise and hate, is a Russian spy...
There is not a scintilla of evidence about your stupid right-wing conspiracies.
Why should we accept what isn't true? Because you believe it? Trump is probably a money launderer. He is a lifetime crook. He is being hit with over 70 charges. Now in your mind, there walks a fine American citizen. Biden without a scrap of evidence against him is a crook.

Many people over many years have come to the conclusion that the CIA can not be reformed, many efforts have been made by some of our best people and all have failed, the only way forward is to kill it.

I am now hearing the same about DOJ.
A new administration needs to move the FBI HQ out of DC to Atlanta and put Gen. Flynn in charge to clean it up. A new administration needs to replace the AG and fire all the Biden AGs in each state. And Joke should be prosecuted for bribery.

IConspiracy Theorists

Unlike you, Terry, I have faith in the millions of American patriots who work for our country.

Yea, sure you do... Garland and the DOJ just proved in court they're playing favorites and covering for the Bidens, no doubt about it. Those aren't patriots, they're criminals committing crimes in a court of law.

You--YOU--claimed Bagman was a "Lobbyist." Who was he a lobbyist for? If he was a lobbyist, did he lobby for foreign nationals and foreign companies? Who was he lobbying to? After all, he wasn't meeting with congressmen or heads of US corporations, so who was he lobbying to?

Did you notice that the ATF, DOJ, et al., never charged Bagman with a gun crime, but that he pled out to one anyway?
That's why it is called diversion.

Did you know that the normal standard for entering a diversion program is you aren't charged with a crime as long as you complete your diversion program with violating the set requirements?

Yep that is what former DOJ US Attorneys are all saying. The Government and the Defense were playing on the same team.

Yep when I asked why all these foreign countries were sending Hunter millions of dollars Libratard here told me he was a successful lobbyist. The problem was he was an unregistered lobbyist that lobbied for foreign countries. Paul Manfort got thrown in prison for EXACTLY the same thing and Democrats were ecstatic about it.

Why do you think the Democrats were able to flip the entire US government in 3 years when Trump couldn't do it in four?

True but this diversion agreement had immunity for crimes that were not gun crimes. The government's attorney Mr. Wise had to admit to the judge this was an unprecedented agreement that the US attorney had never seen before.

The problem in Bagman's case is they had to tie it to the tax charges to get the inclusion of blanket immunity from further prosecution, something that is totally unheard of in such cases. That is why the judge questioned it, and the defense had to dump accepting the plea deal leading to the total breakdown of the whole scam between them and the DOJ.

Mueller was in charge of turning the FBI into an anti-terrorism agency. Eventually terrorism was defined as anyone who opposes the Regime or WOKE. 20 years is a long time, I doubt that your plan would be enough.

She asked if they were still investgating and they said yes then she wanted to know why this agreement would give Hunter immunity for crimes that are as yet undiscovered. The DOJ has said publicly that they are continuing to investigate Hunter. (They did that so they can refuse to answer Congress questions.) I mean why keep investigating if you can't prosecute because Hunter is immune to prosecution.

Everyone that could be fired would be fired the rest of the trouble makers would be transferred to Somalia or some other shithole assignment. The whole upper level of the FBI would be replaced.

The whole thing turned into a clusterfuck of collusion and now both parties are scrambling to try and keep Bagman from going to prison. I'd prefer to see him get felonies on all three counts and do some serious time. Maybe that'll wake him up to reality and cure his affluenza...

Absolutely

I predict Hunter still gets away with it 60% chance. But if I was the Judge and I had the power to nail his hide on the wall I would make an example of him. I'm just not sure what she will legally have the authority to do. She trapped those lawyers she out lawyer-ed them. She was 5 plays ahead of them. She was playing chess and they were playing checkers. The next hearing will be VERY interesting.

An interesting, but only tangentially related point is, that this collusion shows that the Whistleblowers in the whole Biden pay to play, quid pro quo, shakedown, and money laundering scams if even remotely true, are being stonewalled and given exceptional difference by the DOJ. The Bagman plea deal could, and likely is, only the tip of a huge corruption iceberg in the DOJ...

Right.

Throw Hunter in jail, I don't care. He's not a Biden administration official and he doesn't reflect on the Democratic party because he is not an elected representative or a party official.

it will be interesting to see if Biden declared his $5M bribe on his tax returns for that year......they're all public as I recall......
