True, but more interesting than the thread, both sides has dinosaurs that should have been out of the Government years ago
The thread must be interesting enough for you to respond, Anchovies.

From 3 months ago. More proof that Earl is retarded.
While you are here, tough week for West Coast college sports, USC basketball team potentially loses its biggest recruit, and Colorado splits.
So, give us your estimation of what happens to the rest of the league? Suppose some will flee to the Big 12, but what of the others?
Actually we got the number one recruit in the country Isaiah Collier, but losing Bronny would be big. Feel for the kid.
Sucks about the PAC 12 but the conference made its own bed. Lots of rumors floating around about who else will leave and where. They’re all trying because the conference is a dying ship.

My sister went to CU so I've always rooted for them from a distance. I'm happy they're going back to the Big 12. Even though they do have a number of California kids at their school the Big 12 feels more like home for them.
And Larry Scott, former PAC 12 commissioner, is the face of why the PAC 12 failed. Now I'm biased as a Trojan but what I'm saying was 100% bared out by reality.
1) Larry Scott and the rest of the conference did nothing to help us when the PAC 12 fvcked us. Reggie Bush's family taking money from a wanna be agent was worthy of the second largest punishment (after SMU) that the NCAA has given out? It hurt USC and it hurt the conference.
2) Larry Scott proved why socialism doesn't work. He wanted every school to be equal. In certain ways of course, all schools are equal. But in the real world USC and UCLA and not equal to Washington State and Oregon State. Do you think the SEC treats Alabama the same as Mississippi State? Of course not. And by pushing for equality he created mediocrity and only two PAC 12 teams have made the playoff. Huge money loss for the conference and our TV contract was far below other conferences.
He should have gone out of his way to showcase the top teams, specifically USC in football. But he didn't and now the conference is falling apart. It sucks as I don't want to go to the Big 10 but agree with us doing so.
Of course the NCAA heavily penalized a private school, been their trademark, not always, but the trend. I just know with basketball living on the east coast that schools as a St Johns, Syracuse, and St Bonaventures have been hit hard while a North Carolina gets a slap on the wrist for more serious infractions
But the question remains, where can the other schools go, especially the State schools
