Granted this is something that should have happened years ago, but I can still be happy that it's happening now. Biden has just signed an executive order allowing cases of sexual assault to be tried outside the military chain of command.

I had a relationship with a lady vet during the pandemic (she was a badass, we're still good friends) and she was assaulted twice while in the service. I couldn't believe the sheer audacity of the men involved in both instances, one was a high ranking commanding officer and the other was a medical officer. This stuff happens when people know they won't face consequences.
