Chinese automakers are looking to flood the United States market with cheap Electric Vehicles (EVs) as President Joe Biden’s administration has made a rapid all-electric, green energy push without having first ensured domestic manufacturing capacity.

According to Axios, Chinese automakers like BYD Co. Ltd., Li Auto, Xpeng Motors, Nio Inc., and Geely are looking to the U.S. market to sell cheap EVs to Americans as the Biden administration makes its push for an all-electric economy.

The fact that China controls the global trade of many of the "Green Tech" materials to include battery components gives them a lot of power. One thing about the Han which can not be denied is that they think ahead. Another is that they have mastered delayed gratification.

America cant do either anymore.

All the EVs sitting and rotting on lots now in China are what they are going to try to dump on us. Hopefully the NHTSA will do their jobs and stop this nonsense. Chinese ICE cars are death traps, these will be worse.

EV's are already clogging American dealership lots....there is a serious demand problem.

About a decade ago, Tesla rigged the dashboard readouts in its electric cars to provide “rosy” projections of how far owners can drive before needing to recharge, a source told Reuters. The automaker last year became so inundated with driving-range complaints that it created a special team to cancel owners’ service appointments.

That sure is a dumb idea....running out of charge unexpectedly is a huge crush of quality of life....completely running out is very expensive in both time and money.
