As part of a new initiative aimed at discouraging migrants from coming to New York, the city is planning to remove some asylum seekers from its shelter system after 60 days.

The administration also plans to distribute fliers at the US southern border, in a marketing push to remind migrants that New York City is an expensive city that cannot guarantee help for new arrivals. “Please consider another city as you make your decision about where to settle in the US,” the fliers read.

The Hypocrites and Cowards attempt at Virtue Signaling FAILS when they cry about a few 1000 illegal immigrants, while they are completely unsympathetic to the plight of Texas, faced with absorbing MILLIONS of illegal immigrants.
 
Municipalities can't afford to do what needs to be done on the federal level.

We need to deport most of the red state inhabitants
and designate that land as an asylum for the refugees that need housing.

That would make us a far superior nation overnight.

Your idiot politicians caused the crisis and your idiot voters elected them.

Think about this-- Somalia has the climate of California, the population density of Colorado and over 2000 miles of coastline astride one of the busiest trade routes in the world.

They shouldn't be exporting migrants; they should be a destination. If whites or even the Chicoms were running the country, they wouldn't be a 3rd world SHITHOLE
 
In fact, we need immigrants for work. We have millions of job openings. Immigrant workers start businesses faster than the rest of America. They work hard. The growing economy with a lower birth rate requires immigrants. Immigrants commit crimes at a lower rate that the rest of America.

A person could make a good argument with these points,
if they were presented in a reasoned and sophisticated way.

Too much trouble for you, I guess.

That nation has never been on my itinerary, if we're being totally honest,
but one assumes that African nations are for the most part run by people of color.

Here's the thing, vols.

Even if you believe that there is a disparity in functional abilities among various ethnicities,

and even if you can present credible evidence to illustrate such,

it doesn't begin to change the fact that we are,

like it or not,

a diverse nation. We can't change it.



We don't have to claim that it's some sort of strength or advantage.

I personally believe that it's an obstacle that we have to overcome.

But above all, it's our reality

and if we can't make it work to everybody's satisfaction,

we're just another shithole country

not taking advantage of our bountiful resources,

not unlike Somalia in the ways that you mentioned.

We can't decide to suddenly become a homogeneous nation.
That option isn't available to us.
We have to make what we've got work for all of our citizens.
 
The illegal immigration can be slowed. The border can be secured and illegals deported.

It happened under Trump and the only obstacle now is from the far left Democratic Socialist loons.

They want the borders open and they are.
