In 2014 Russian backed separatists seized Ukrainian government buildings . What justified that action? Or, Russia's invasion and annexation of Crimea? There is no justification for Russia's aggression.

Because Ukrainians were attacking Russian civilians in the Donbas region for a multitude of issues.
They were imprisoning them on fake charges and trying to get them to comply to unfair laws.
So yes, the Donbas region rebelled and the Ukranian's began attacking them.
There were 29 ceasefires negotiated by Russia and Ukraine broke every single one of them so Putin said enough is enough and moved in to protect his people.
Ukraine is a nasty ass shithole run by mafia types.

More than 3,000 civilians died during the fighting in Donbas between 2014 and 2022, but there is no evidence to support the claim that Ukraine committed a genocide of Russian-speaking people or ethnic Russians in Ukraine.
These people are traitors that took up arms against the Ukraine authority, and got themselves killed.

So Russia will continue to do what they are doing if Ukraine does not attack the bridge or does attack the bridge.
Why should that matter then to Ukraine.
Ukraines best chance at surviving is winning the war which means hitting Putins biggest supply lines. This was a necessary and good step by Ukraine.

The UK would instantly send tons of troops to the front lines, besides Ukraine forces to drive every Russian troop off their soil. The Brits would not take a strike on their homeland any less seriously than Americans would.

Bridges, that are supply lines to for the enemy, are almost always one of the first things targeted in wars when a side is going on the offensive.
It is lost on you because you are stupid but the bridge being there means that area will become inaccessible or much harder to traverse without the bridge, thus why it was built.

The reasons for the Donbas conflict are many.
Essentially it boils down to this.
They were Russian citizens and did not want to be part of Ukraine, because of that the Ukranian government targeted them with unfair laws and practices and they rebelled resulting in the deaths of thousands of their civilians.
Russia stepped in to end the bloodshed.
That is the Ukranian war in a nutshell.

What Putin did by invading Crimea and the Ukraine was no less an International crime, than Hitler invading Poland!
Putin is a war criminal- and needs to be hung for his crimes!
Putin has this crazy idea to rebuild the Soviet Union, and he doesn't intend to stop until he destroys and invades every now sovereign state that left the Union after it's breakup. The only reason why he is doing this, is to create a huge buffer zone between Eastern Europe and Russia and establish military posts in those regions.
Well, he is insane and will be defeated- EVEN IF NATO has to rise to the occasion and declare war on Russia!
