Piers Morgan tried to sell Donald Trump as some kind of foreign policy mastermind ― but former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) wasn’t having it.

The former president has bragged of his close friendships with dictators and autocrats, including North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Morgan said on “Fox News Tonight” that the U.S. never went to war under Trump and that no dictators “pulled any stunts” during his presidency.

“I don’t think by calling Kim Jong Un a great guy he stopped him from continuing to develop missile technology that now allows those missiles to reach the United States,” Christie said. “That happened on Donald Trump’s watch.”

Putin, he said, continued to build his military in anticipation of a strike on Ukraine.

“He doesn’t answer for that, either,” Christie said. “And he doesn’t answer for holding back military aid from Ukraine to try to get dirt on Joe Biden.”

Anyone who's seen Christie's limb by limb analysis of the guy may understand why Trump could be concerned about joining him on that stage.

It's important to remember that Morgan was a winner on Celebrity Apprentice one season. So now he gets to follow trump around like the little chihuahua that he is.

Ironically, Christie is a fatter version of trump. He skated on the GW Bridge crime, but there is no way that he didn't perpetrate that. He's a bully with the press, and believes that he is above the law. He lost countless millions from the NJ pension fund by diverting the account to a political donor once in office.

He is, however, very enjoyable to watch as he tears trump limb from limb.

Christie is an idiot.

Trump would destroy him.

But since Biden isn't going to debate there is no reason for Trump to do so either.

He did skate on the GW bridge thing.

He is certainly a bully with the press.

I don’t know about the pension diversion.

But, he is no “fatter Trump”. Trump is a complete incompetent. No so with Christie.

If he were the Republican nominee, even against Biden, I would consider holding my nose and voting for him. I just can’t see Biden for another term.
