Stephanie Grisham:Trump exposed secret docs

You don't think he'll get the nomination? Who will then?

Sorry, what I meant was that, should Trump win the nomination, he'll lose the national election.

That said, I think he'll not make it that far as evidenced by the fact so many Republican candidates are running against him.

DeSantis is most likely at the moment to take the nomination, but he could end up being the Howard Dean of the Republican Party leaving one of the Dark Horses to take it.

So let's suppose #TRE45ON gets the (R) nomination, but between that day and Election Day, he is convicted. I believe he will refuse to drop out, but suppose he does. Who then becomes the nominee?

Then it's up to the RNC to choose their candidate.

ExpressLane said:
They weren't classified. He declassified them when he took them with him as Presidential records. Grisham does not know the law.

He cannot declassify after he is out of office, which he was when he stole them. Further, declassification is a process with a paper trail and with multiple witnesses and signatories. Trump cannot provide any evidence that he declassified the documents under his indictment.

Next?

ExpressLane is wrong at a more fundamental and stupid level with this continued claim you will never see any Trump layer argue in court and even Trump has abandoned now.

Even if Trump was still POTUS, the Presidential records act gives him NO POWER to turn classified records into personal documents.
Yes as POTUS he could declassify any doc, if he followed the process, but that DOES NOT make those documents then personal doc's under the PRA. They are 'declassified gov't doc's' and still the property of the gov't and in the custodial care of NARA.

What the PRA does specifically and why it was created was as a way a POTUS could say to NARA, 'hey SOME of these documents are not government records and are my personal doc's, such as my diary and memoires'. The PRA very clearly and specifically, defined what can be called personal and what is NOT personal and thus does not fall under the PRA. What is NEVER subject to the PRA exception is any government doc that was work product, or any classified or restricted doc.

This push by ExpressLane and other derps, that a POTUS can declare anything 'personal' and then take it, is factually wrong.

Hello Tinkerpeach,

And what law did Trump break again?

Here is a link to the indictment. 44 pages. 37 counts.

The above post seems to have shut down that discussion.

It is not a matter of what law Trump broke.

There is a list of them.

Donald never thought the rules ever applied to him. The worst thing that ever happened to him was to acquire nearly unlimited power. That went right to his head. It was probably only a matter of time before he got himself in too deep.

And how absurd for it to be over something so stupid.
