So true. When "even some Republicans" can say that homophobia is a bad thing, then "the vast majority of Republicans" are measurably bad people.

I'm related to some of these people. They're my family. I work with some of them. Nonetheless, I have given up on them -- heart, mind, and soul. Trump supporters, DeSantis supporters, and everything like them are a cancer on humanity. They can't be changed, improved, educated, or trusted. They're truly bad people. All we can do is uphold standards for ourselves and be a good example.

Anyone not completely hateful would have never thought that ad a good idea and let it air. The fact that Ron did not have a 'WTF' reaction to that video which can be summarized as 'Trump was not hateful to gayz and blacks and other marginalized people and i will be', tell us all we need to know about Ron.

He may have morphed into his own special kind of Nazi, you may be correct about that. I honestly don't think DeSantis could win a general, but it's really a moot point. Unless Trump drops out (which is the same day snowball fights will break out in hell) DeSantis won't be the nominee. He is now down THIRTY FOUR points to Trump, and he is bleeding support with his constant missteps. He is just a really bad candidate, and IMHO his Covid policies were criminal negligence. The ad was a disaster.
