Media notices EVs weigh a buttload, EV makers are losing their butts

I will try and help you. You are selectively picking out cars that will back a bad argument. Our roads at this time are full of oversized heavy vehicles, most weighing more than EVs, The world laughs at America's love of huge oversized vehicles. Look at your Tahoes registration and see what it weighs. They do not build an EV that weighs that much. SUVs and crossovers are all over the streets and doing more damage to the roads than an EV could possibly do.

Like I said, size for size, EV are heaver. That is a FACT!

Heavier means weighs more. The heaviest cars on the road by far are ICEs. That is a fact. And most of you rightys drive huge ICEs.Size for size? What matters is weight. EVs are alm

Biggest selling cars include
Ford F series trucks
Silvrado
Ram Pickup
GMC Sierra
Tacoma
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Highlander
Chevy Equinox
Ford Exploder
Those are the vehicles American ICE fans choose. Those are the ones that create the weight for the streets.

Do you drive? look about you. There are huge RVs driving around. There are huge pickups. And there are even semis.
All of them either diesel or gasoline.
You should not call me names.
You should stop calling people names.
You are picking and choosing what you think buttresses what are very bad arguments.
Fallacy fallacy. No cherry picking occurred.
Why would I pick equal sizes?
Because for the same size, EVs are far heavier.
The fact that huge RVs and other personal vehicles are on the road, and for some reason, you think they do not harm roads,
They do, and they pay taxes for them the extra damage they cause.
but smaller EVs do,
Smaller EVs also damage roads, but do NOT pay taxes for the extra damage they cause. They should. False equivalence fallacy.
shows what passes for logic in your world.
Fallacies are what pass for 'logic' in your world.

As I said to poor Richie, size for size, no EV is lighter than an ICE in it's same class. You won't pick equal sizes because you're trying to prove an impossibility. Stupid, really...

He is attempting a proof by false equivalence and cherry picking. Both are fallacies.

I will try and help you. You are selectively picking out cars that will back a bad argument.
Inversion fallacy. It is YOU doing this.
Our roads at this time are full of oversized heavy vehicles, most weighing more than EVs,
You are doing it AGAIN! False equivalence fallacy. Cherry picking fallacy.
The world laughs at America's love of huge oversized vehicles.
Let 'em laugh. I am not here to keep the world from laughing. Your avarice is obvious.
Look at your Tahoes registration and see what it weighs. They do not build an EV that weighs that much.
YES THEY DO. It's a LOT smaller than a Tahoe.
SUVs and crossovers are all over the streets and doing more damage to the roads than an EV could possibly do.
Blatant lie. EV SUVs and crossovers are HEAVY vehicles and doing far more damage than gasoline SUVs and crossovers.

Blatant lie.
The Ford F150E (the Lightning) weights FAR more than the Ford F150 (gasoline version)...almost TWICE AS MUCH.
The electric version of the Ford Explorer (it doesn't explode) weighs in again at TWICE AS MUCH as the gasoline version of the Ford Explorer.

Size for size? That is evasion. Vehicle per vehicle is what matters. The streets are full of enormous ICEs that are doing this terrible road damage you ICE fans are ascribing to future EVs. Is it a fact that you cannot understand what is wrong with your crappy argument? Take it from a road point of view. The weight impacts them the same, whether it is from an EV, an ICE, or a diesel semi.

It is NOT an evasion. It is making a valid comparison. You are AGAIN making false equivalence fallacies and cherry picking (a fallacy).

Here's why EV's are so popular in WA state. There are a bunch on the road here:

https://www.nrdc.org/stories/electr...3pAoLARs0FtNAjvQYCaPmcj0kbDABytcaAqymEALw_wcB

"Electricity costs, like gas prices, can vary significantly by region. Taking both of these into account, a 2020 study broke down the lifetime fuel costs of battery-powered electric vehicles versus internal combustion engine cars state by state. EV owners in Washington State, for example, can save as much as $14,480 over the life of their vehicle—the highest margin in the country."
