The wall isn't meant as an end all to stop immigration, it's part of an overall immigration program.
It will delay the immigrants long enough for the border patrol to get there.

The "new" ones that trump wanted to build were being washed away during floods and cut through easily by anyone. Thats were we are going to spend money? As it is a republican congress wouldn't give Trump the money he wanted so why would they give it to DeSantis?
