I eat Meat,......but only certain types and try to keep it as healthy as possible. I shy away from pork,....always have. Chicken, turkey, venison, fish. Love beef but tend to eat it in moderation. TONS of fresh Veggies and certain fruits,...lots of berries and nuts. Breads I stick with the whole grains or Keto. No pasta, potato or rice. Im no expert but I do know this.....stick as close to whole foods as you can and you cant go wrong, most of the crap in grocery stores is just that,...crap. Damn near pure poison.

Potatoes are a whole food. They are just a tuber, like carrots or beets.
Rice is a whole food. It's the nut of the plant. Same with anything that has wheat in it, including anything containing flour, such as pasta or most any kind of bread.

Just because something was purchased from a grocery store doesn't mean it's crap.

Let me ask you a question why would God say some critters were unclean to eat then suddenly say "just kidding they are clean to eat"? Did the critters change? If a pig was unhealthy to eat what changed about the pig? If a snake was unclean to eat what about the snake changed? If a rat was unclean to eat why did it become clean? What changed about it. Does a pig not still eat garbage does a rat not still eat garbage? Only some critters are clean
to eat. Check out Cysticercosis I have seen a few cases of it.

Pigs were unhealthy (and still are) if not cooked properly. Due to the irregularity of the fires used in cooking, it was just too easy to not properly kill the parasites found in pig meat, giving you trichinosis. Further, today, trichinosis can be treated. Back then it was impossible. The result of contracting it was death by slow torture. No fun. Another problem disease with pork is the Cysticercosis you mention. ALWAYS check any pig you slaughter for disease properly cook your pig!

Snakes are good eating and easy to prepare (just stay away from the sharp end when you catch one!). As far as I know, they were never banned.
Some Christians avoid snake because it is associated with Lucifer.

A rat is unclean. I don't recommend eating one unless it's been carefully farmed.

A rat will not only eat garbage, it lives in it. Pigs don't. Pigs don't eat garbage either, only a wide variety of food (they don't like orange peels I found). Pigs love to dig around and eat roots and tubers. Nature's bulldozers.

Some people do eat rat, but you had better properly clean it first and check it for infections! Rats aren't much meat. It's a lot of work to make a meal of them. They can and do carry all manner of disease, so you have to be careful with rat.

I don't care what anyone says. I am a carnivore. I am not at the top of the food chain to eat rabbit food. I will eat whatever I want, and meat is a priority.

Eating meat is good,....I do. I just choose to eat the more healthy cuts most of the time although I do eat beef some too. Like everything else,...all things in moderation. I used to drink at least 2 pots of coffee a day every day,....now I drink 2 cups. I used to try to have as many girl friends as possible,........now I have one wife! As you get older and wiser you adjust for the better or at least try.
