And across the board US Attorney and other legal experts say these crimes happen all the time and no one without priors is typically charged unless the gun is used in a crime and for simply paying the IRS late.


Hunter did get special treatment. He got treated more harsh by a Trump US attorney than any one else typically would have been.

Stupid Lying FUCK - this prosecution was led by David Weiss - deputy US Attorney. Weiss was promoted to DUSA by Rod Rosenstein who was acting AG. It was one of the MANY corrupt things Rosenstein did in the short time between Sessions being fired and Barr taking over.

The IRS generally just takes the money back and goes on. In this case, Hunter was given 2 misdemeanor charges. That was political. The gun charges are similar. A guy without priors is generally brushed away with a fine. He will carry a felony charge. That is not good for a lawyer and lobbyist.
