Personally, I’d treat guns just as we do vehicles; registration, to be renewed every few years; license, obtained after training and testing and also to be renewed every couple of years; and insurance, to include full liability coverage

Actually I was there about three weeks ago, Montreal, interesting city, historical, and great food, but I don’t live in Canada. I do have dual citizenship, even two passports, but as I said, I live in America, and luckily I’m in a great city in a Blue State, don’t any reason to leave unless you rednecks screw up the country further

How about the guy fleeing the police, ran a red light at over 100mph and took the lives of five young ladies heading to a friend's wedding last Sat night? In 2020 this asshat was fleeing in a stolen vehicle in Montecito CA when he hit a pedestrian and put them in a coma. In the vehicle was 17 lbs of weed, and fifteen thousand dollars in cash. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Math, 2020 + 8 = 2028 with time off for good behavior possibly 2025.

Side story, his father was a Minnesota state representative who with a large group of other BLM miscreants formed a group outside the home president of the police union, and threatened to burn the town down.
On another side note, the father with his long criminal record, is a friend of MN Soros appointed attorney general Keith Ellison and the two have already had a meeting following the crash.
