Any time you pay hospitals an extra $39,000 for each person intubated on a ventilator you are going to get people who don't need to be intubated on a venilator, which kills them. The system is corrupt and the doctors in it are corrupt.

Sure.. the hospitals were grabbing people off the streets and forcing intubation tubes down them.

Your argument is so stupid, that is the response it deserves.
Intubating someone takes up a bed and requires round the clock care. Hospitals were so short staffed and overworked they had no reason to intubate people just for the money.
