Any attorney worth their salt will recommend a deal. The case is not winnable. Trump undoubtedly refused.

I may do one for free, if the client would actually follow my advice. I do not believe that Trump has the capacity to follow advice from anyone no matter how valid or solid the advice.

He also has the habit of putting his own lawyers at legal or civil risk.

I often do cases for people I like for free. Often times people will screw someone because the amount of money is too little to justify hiring a lawyer, that’s when I’ll do it for free if I like the case and the client.
