Americans losing faith in elections process

It's okay if you don't want to discuss it, Fredo. I know what the words mean and suspect your emotional response indicates you do too. LOL

Dude, saying that influencing a vote doesn't mean changing it makes you sound retarded.

:tardthoughts:

Word games are all you have left, having abandoned Truth and sense long ago.

I still trust them because there is no evidence that they are not secure. It may change for me with the crazy laws Texas is passing.

In 2021 Texas Republicans lowered illegal voting from a felony to a misdemeanor. This session they increased it back to a felony.

At one time, the majority of people also thought Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11.

Repetition in messaging works. Propaganda is effective - which is why it has been used as a tool for centuries.

No one ever said Saddam was behind 9/11; another left lie.

How will photo ID prevent voter fraud? The idea that people vote pretending to be other people has not been shown to be true. Voter ID is not solving a problem. It is designed to create problems. Why is a conceal/carry permit an okay ID but not a student ID? Why aren't tribal ID's acceptable?

There's all sorts of ways to cheat and produce fraud in an all mail-in ballot election system where voting lasts as much as a month. No need for voter ID is only one problem with mail-in balloting.

For example, mass mail outs of ballots to, in particular things like group homes, senior care homes, and the like create an opportunity for fraud. The ballots arrive in mass and are then to be distributed by a staff member. If that member knows certain persons are senile, have dementia, etc., but are getting a ballot (no purging of voter rolls another Democrat move) they fill them out instead and send them back in. Since the signature match requirements are normally so low that virtually any signature will do, and that's the only check on the ballot's validity, it gets counted.

Another is groups that register in more than one state. Here, you have a group in state A that registers in B and a group in B that registers in A. The two groups then bundle and mail the other their ballots from the respective state they are not in. They fill that ballot out and mail it back to the handler that then turns it in with a valid postal stamp from a local post office. That way both groups vote twice, once in each state.

A Democrat group of about 24 people (12 in each state) got caught some years back running this scam between Ohio and Arizona for example.

Ballot harvesting is the same thing. A party operative goes door to door in a neighborhood, or goes to known addresses of party members. They collect the ballot(s) there, often waving off a need for the person(s) there to fill them out or seal the envelope. They then fill out the ballot themselves and send it in. A variant of this is tossing out or otherwise destroying ballots they know didn't vote "properly."

As for voter ID, if you have to show up in person, and you have to present a valid ID, it's a lot harder to do any of the above. Concealed carry permits are not allowed in Arizona for example. Student ID's are an issue because they don't give proof of residence in the state. That is an out of state student might get an instate driver's license, or other ID and end up registered to vote due to automatic voter registration laws--particularly in blue states--when they are ineligible as they are not state residents but temporarily there to go to school. Tribal ID's are generally accepted.

Those calling it foul should not do so without evidence. They are destroying our faith in democracy just to support their favored candidate.

there are confession letters in time magazine.

the whole thing was fucking foul.

the cheaters and the corrupt destroy the faith, not the truthtellers, ya fucking dumby dum dum.
