Americans losing faith in elections process

Pretending they system doesn't work because your guy didn't win is just part of the "the big lie." Perhaps the problem is that the majority of the country doesn't agree with you.

We are supposed to believe Brandon got more votes than Obama bin laden or the talking pig in a pant suit? Really? Any objective observer knows both of them were stronger candidates than the idiot in there now.

How will photo ID prevent voter fraud? The idea that people vote pretending to be other people has not been shown to be true. Voter ID is not solving a problem. It is designed to create problems. Why is a conceal/carry permit an okay ID but not a student ID? Why aren't tribal ID's acceptable?

so you don't believe in the concept of identification then.

you're a genius.

"The big lie" is repeated yet again. It seems that is what you are living.

Whether their beliefs are true or not, an increasing number, to now represent a majority of Americans, believe that elections are full of 'cheating.' Many think that election officials and others in government are ignoring claims of election fraud and even working actively to produce it.

It doesn't matter if this is true or not. The fact that a majority think and feel this way, should be a major alarm bell to politicians and government about elections. If people have no faith in the results, whether they are fair and accurate or the result of fraud and cheating, means the people have no faith in government. That is going to become a serious problem for our society.

Voters see ‘cheating’ everywhere, 54% expect it in 2024 election

The Washington Examiner is a dubious publication.

Imagine they do given the efforts of the right 24/7 to discredit elections, along with the Judicial System, and just about any other institution valuable to America’s democracy that challenged Trump’s attempted ascendancy to autocracy

I guess you have never heard of student governments or tribal governments.

Sure but if you want to vote in a US government election get a US govt issued ID. I can't use my US govt issued ID in a student govt election or a tribal govt election can I? You people are fucked in the head.

that's right. nobody said trump won through russian interference.

you're right.

not.

Nice backpedal. That sounds more like the history I remember than the patsy who typed this hyperbolic wackiness: "dems said 2016 was stolen by a russian operation".

Good news, Fredo! It proves you are trainable and recognize your environment.

How on earth did voting happen before we had drivers licenses with photos?
We have only had photos on IDs in the last 60 years.
Identification doesn't require carrying a piece of plastic with your picture on it. Signing the poll book has been around for a lot longer and has worked well with very few instances of anyone pretending to be someone else. Its just as easy to get a fake ID as it is to sign the poll book.
