trump knew long ago that he was vulnerable to charges when he stole the documents and decided to keep them. That is why he announced he was running for president long before anyone had done in the past. He thinks that it confers protection from his crimes. Note that is what he talks about at rallies. The Dems are doing election interference and trying to stop him from victory. He is a fucking crook who should face the courts for his crimes.
A slight disagreement: no doubt Trump was told the consequences, but since he's a notorious narcissist who always believes he's the smartest man in the room, he blew off all that advice. He felt that the rules didn't apply to him.
Hence why he's well known as a "fucking moron".
I have no doubt he'll be sentenced to prison, but do to age and security issues, such as him being ass-raped in the shower by a she-male, I suspect he'll be sentenced to his residence for 20+ years.
Most likely, but he will appeal and hope a Republican president pardons him before the appeal is done.
The next republican president will certainly pardon him.
