This is a very interesting ruling. Roberts still holds sway over this bunch of clowns. Without looking, I'm guessing Kavanaugh and Gorsuch joined the majority, and the three conservative hacks voted against. I wonder if there is a new dynamic in this court, given all of the dirt that's come out on Thomas and Alito. I guess we'll have to stand by and see.

WASHINGTON — In a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court cleared the way Monday for Alabama to use its new congressional district map even though a lower court said it violated the Voting Rights Act by denying Black voters a new district.
The court granted a request from Alabama Republicans to put a hold on the lower court ruling.
The decision holds by a one vote majority, the dissent lays a very serious groundwork for overturning today’s decision. If Biden does not get reelected, the new president is very likely to appoint someone who would overturn it.
