What if NAMBLA decides to adopt the rainbow flag? Even if others object, they are free to do so and could stage parades pushing NAMBLA flying both the Rainbow flag and Pelosi's point that 16 year olds are old enough to vote? Their slogan would be "Old enough to vote, old enough to fuck". Would you accept that or burn/hide your rainbow flag?
