Well at least you admit the left never even gave a shit about "prayers and condolences". The next step in your "evolution" is to admit you have never given a shit about any victim of any shooting. Can you do that for us? Just be honest for once in your miserable existence.

If we're not capping one another's asses on a daily basis,
then we're not fulfilling the vision that the founders had for America.

I found it profoundly un-American to complain about this.
Whether being properly American is a positive thing or not, however,
is for each of us to decide for ourselves.

Nah, the left saw the idiocy of prayers and condolences, it was only a deflection to kick the issue down the road, as is your not carrying about victims bullshit, the issue is guns, straight and forward, there are too many and way to easy access to too many, and the consequences are repeated mass and school shootings

Sounds good, but the problem is, with the escalation and frequency of theses instances, Americans aren’t able to decide for themselves, they now stand a chance of being shot attending church, going to school, buying groceries, stopping by Walmart, attending a concert, etc

17 shootings this weekend. The answer is more guns. Other nations that make guns rare, had no shootings. They do not know what they are missing.

I'm sure that's what the founders intended.

They would have worded the 2nd Amendment more intelligently if they intended anything else.

America is a residential shooting gallery. We're all part of the action. Enjoy.
 
the Constitution was made by and for moral people. most of y'all have had shitty morals handed down by your parents, and theirs, etc............so your notion that the 2nd isn't worded intelligently is patently false, it's just that you have little to no morals

You implicate morals into the wording of the 2nd, which has been debated for over 200 years. There is plenty of argument over what it means. Your surety about its meaning is meaningless, but it is a right-wing gun-nuts interpretation. The gun lobbyists' successful interpretation has made America into a shooting gallery, that will just get worse and worse. A nation that has active shooter drills for children in school is doing something wrong. A nation that had 17 shootings last weekend should rethink everything concerning guns.

the 2nd Amendments meaning was made crystal clear through the writings of the founding era as well as numerous court cases up until 1933. there is no gun lobby interpretation, there is only reciting the founders words.

you say that we're doing something wrong......and on that specific point, you are right. where you continually screw it up, though, is maintaining that the tool is the problem........that tool can't do anything until someone with a screwed up or evil mindset uses it. the ONLY way to slow down the number of shootings is to learn to shoot back and stop preventing people from doing so. end of story.

Or just walking down the street as these latest gunshot victims were. They were all just in the wrong place at the wrong time when a couple of other gun nuts were trying to murder each other.

The problem is the guns.
