‘#DeSaster’ Ron DeSantis Roasted Over Botched Twitter Campaign Launch

That provoked an interesting thought. What if the glitches were deliberate sabotage on the part of disgruntled Twitter techs? I love their excuse: "It was so popular that thousands tried to view it and crashed the servers." Yet as pointed out above, AOC managed a lot more viewers w/o crashing it in 2020. Of course, the employees weren't as disgruntled then, either. lol

Or possibly DeSaster himself scuttled it because he was embarrassed by the small turnout?

Had it gone off as planned, he'd have been ridiculed on social media and in the press for only garnering 300k viewers.

I hope mini-Mussolini crashes and burns but only after he and Der Trumpführer rip each other to shreds.

It is a massive technological expansion to go from short tweets to video and audio. And meanwhile, most of Twitters technical staff is gone.

Oops! Well, Musk's bromance with DeSatan will be sure to keep the Toadstool off the platform. lol

Twitter is worth less than half of what Elon Musk paid for it six months ago having lost more than $20bn (£16.4bn) in value, according to calculations based on a leaked memo from the billionaire. Musk suggested in memo to the social media company's staff that it is now valued at less than $20bn.

The most valuable asset of any tech company is its employees. Musk fired many, but worse yet he cut off benefits to the rest. His best employees were severely underpaid, but were working hard because they believed in the company, and were getting great benefits. Without belief in the company, and the benefits, they have left.

Put another way, if you can make $200k working 40 hours a week, why on Earth would you work 80 hours a week for only $80k? The only possible reason would be either you think you are doing something great, you get other benefits, or there is a real chance of a major payday in the future. It is a private company, so stock options are gone, and none of those apply anymore.

Explain how

Twitter's video service is little used. Musk wanted to ramp up the service, but he has almost no staff, so it is doubtful he could do it. A better leader would have seen this disaster coming, and announced on a different platform.

You mean Like Biden who avoids public appearances where he gets questions. Biden will avoid debates where he could do his usual foot in mouth answers

In short, this fiasco was self-induced. LOL
