Dem SJWs attack tiny WHITE Pregnant Nurse who tries to STEAL bike from Five Black Men

Good questions... kind of odd that the little group was there to help their friend rent one bike...But... they have to do is show their receipt... (and once the bike was pushed back into the rack even if they had rented it first all they had to do was start over... she was already sitting on that particular bike if I'm not mistaken... I'm sure there were other bikes there...)

Not odd at all.

those bikes are not cheap per hour. If you live in the area and you like to ride bikes you almost certainly own a bike and do not rent these. The people who rent these are generally tourists or people visiting friends or people who do not own a bike but suddenly need one to join friends on a ride. So the people who live their and ride often would tend to have their own bikes already.

And again we do not know that 2 or 3 other people in their group were not also picking up bikes of their own with their own APP's??

Would you AND your friends harass a pregnant nurse over a bicycle?

I certainly would not let her take it if i knew i had booked it and had the receipt to prove it.

I would politely maintain control of the bike and ensure she did not ride off.

Again, those bikes are super expensive, as they are specifically manufactured with all non standard fitting parts to prevent them being stolen and broken down and sold for parts in the huge bike theft market. And if it is rented on his credit card, he will be legally liable for it as she drives off. If he is right and has the receipt and thinks she is crazy or irrational, he would rightful fear she rides off and never returns it to spite him. Just hide and keep it or push it off a cliff and teach him a lesson as his credit card is charged full replacement cost.

So like him, i would politely refuse to let it go, while trying to figure out why she was trying to take from me, a bike i rented and had the receipt for.

LOL. Seems like the truth has struck a chord...

What truth? It was a misunderstanding, and she started acting like she had been assaulted. But the fact is that I don't really care about this. BigDog does though. His widdwe feewings are SO hurt by the mean black men.

Please, give me a break.

I guess we'll just have to wait until all the facts are known.

Well if that's the case then they can show several receipts...produce the paper and put this argument to bed... there was still no need to harass the young nurse... it couldn't have been that serious if it was theirs....(here bike memberships aren't very expensive ... our Chamber of Commerce offers great deals for yearly memberships some are even free for the basic package...)

They pushed the bike back into the rack... that would have ended any contractual agreement if they had rented the bike first... and if they had why weren't they on it?

which is what i have been saying yes.

But let me put on my prediction hat.

- the young man will show he has a receipt that proves he was the one with the CURRENT active rental on that bike as opposed to her PAST rental receipt

- she has claimed he pushed the bike back in, which is what canceled her rental already but he will deny that

- This will remain stuck in this he said/she said, battle and not resolve from there.

And for what it is worth, it would make little sense that he would walk up, push her bike back into the rack, so he could then rent it, instead of just finding another bike to rent, unless the guy is truly malicious and was looking for this fight.

What does happen, and often, is that people accidently re rack the bike while they are getting ready to go. They accidentally push it back in to one of the stalls and the bike is released, and another person looking on the APp suddenly sees 'Available Bike' pop up and they book and walk over to get it.

The person booking is not typically in view of the bikes first. The App by geolocation is showing them the closest available bikes to where they are. So he books it, walks over and sees this woman trying to take it.

We don't know any of this yet, but i have seen disputes over booked and released bikes especially on busy days when people are just waiting to see one 'released' to book as they are not having much luck as it is busy that day.

this is your other "front" as the video shows the young men being calm and not harassing her at all.

I have already said why if it is shown that the young man did have, in fact, the active rental of the bike, he would not just let her ride off with it, to be nice. He would be legally liable for that bike and he would be stuck, unable to rent any other bike until she returned it. She could stay out all day for free on it and he would have to pay while not being able to get a bike himself.

The only "harassment" I see is the Twitter mobs who do what Twitter mobs on every topic. But i predict (and you already are doing it) that if this young man produces a receipt you will then push that he was 'harassing a pregnant woman', thus even though he was right...he was wrong.

Oh course it's all you see Stevie wonder.

I doubt any of the people here, if they knew they had rented that bike and it was theirs to use, would just hand it over to her, and not just be unable to get any other bike, until she returned it, not just paying for her use for the entire time she kept it, but the risk of having the entire cost of the bike being charged to your credit card.

I think anyone saying 'I would just let her have it... on my credit card or not' are just lying to themselves. BUt yes, agreed, if the young man has no e-receipt then he is completely in the wrong.

There will be a $1,200 penalty for Citi Bikes that are lost.

She had the receipt according to her lawyer.

Prediction hat = hyperbole

She had the receipt according to her lawyer.

She had a receipt that showed she had booked the bike in the PAST. It was not for current rental according to the article above. Thus why she was trying to scan the QR code (she says they were blocking her) to REBOOK the bike.

As i said what i think was one of two things happened. The first one being most likely:

- she had booked it, went and pulled it out of the dock, but accidentally pushed it back in to the dock, which ends the booking. She did not know she had ended but at that point the guy was able to see it as 'available' on the APp and he booked it. An honest error by her that happens often (accidental redocking) with a coincidental quick rebook by the other, which happens at busy times.

OR

- as she is claiming. They pushed the bike back into the dock, forcing the cancellation of her bike. If he has a receipt it should show time frames that they may be able to correlate with video the exact timing of events. But possibly not. The book and rebook time could all be outside the video start and this will remain he said/she said.

I don't know why you keep saying that as if it is a smart thing to say when it is not.

This is an active thread discussing an incident that NONE OF US have the details on. So everyone is speculating and making guesses. No one yet has the facts.

Most of the chat threads on current unfolding threads are the same. Speculation without full facts.

I am not claiming to KNOW anything and am saying it is speculation, based on my history of using the bikes.

You keep saying 'your speculation is speculation' is just asinine.

OK, I'll give you that. We'll just have to see how it plays out, if it's even in the news at all.

He pushed it back in the rack...Then he should have gone to another bike... She was sitting on that one...Anyway...By now, if he had a receipt, why haven't we seen it? We saw hers....;) (She did look like the type to try to steal someone else's rental and never return it, though...didn't she? Good thing he pushed the bike back into the rack and cancelled his rental...oh, wait...;))

He pushed it back in the rack...
Is there a longer video as i don't see that?

Then he should have gone to another bike...
As long as he is not on the hook for that one being booked to him, then i would agree.

She was sitting on that one..
So? What matters is 'whose credit card is responsible for it? That person should have it.

.Anyway...By now, if he had a receipt, why haven't we seen it? We saw hers....;)
Maybe he has a lawyer who does not want them fighting this in public.

(She did look like the type to try to steal someone else's rental and never return it, though...didn't she?
She definitely showed as soon as the white guy showed up, she was willing to go to fake tears to try and get her way. That is pretty duplicitous.

Good thing he pushed the bike back into the rack and cancelled his rental...oh, wait...;))
Again, serious question. Is there another video?
