He buddy's up with Elon on Twitter Spaces and makes the announcement no one is paying attention to.

His quest for the presidency is done before it has started. trump will wipe the floor with meatball ron before he eviscerates Ron from the primary.

LOL. So many were watching that they caused a glitch. Though I do agree that using an untested environment to announce is foolish and opened the door to Trump and Brandon ridicule. Brandon is so afraid of DeSantis it makes me cringe that their "attack Trump" method of controlling the Trump voters is working and Trump will likely get the nomination. I stick with my statement. I will not vote for Trump again, even if Dementia Joe is running. I'll vote, like I did in the last election, for the Libertarian candidate if Trump is the nominee....

It looks good for Dementia Joe's hope that Trump gets the nomination... but heck Joe's hilarious video rivals this as the most inept announcement.

When Trump and Brandon are in agreement about who and how to attack someone, then we know who we should be paying attention to.

I disagree. Trump needs someone to draw votes that he otherwise would not get, to shore up a weakness. I think Tim Scott or Nikki Haley are more likely than DeSantis as his choice. Though he tends to not want to pick folks that ran against him, he seems to think that they are not "loyal". If Trump gets the nod he'll pick someone you weren't thinking of... Like he did last time. I mean Milquetoast Pence?

A Trump vote is far better than feeling good about voting for someone who has no chance. The lefties have a conundrum: Work feverishly to get Trump convicted of a crime, any crime that will derail his running, then they have a DeSantis to worry about and I assure they have far more to fear from Ron DeSantis than 50 Trumps.

Nikki Haley and Tim Scott would have zero interest. Frankly, so would DeSantis. MTG, Kari Lake, that's the type that would be willing. Maybe George Santos. That would be fun. Either way, Trump is going to be trounced in the general, and drag the entire party off the cliff with him.

Pudding fingers is too terrified of trump to attack him. trump will tear poor meatball limb from limb. Then as the Republicans have done over the last few cycles, they will lose the presidency to Biden again.

I could see him picking John James of Michigan. He's handsome, a veteran, intelligent, a businessman, presents well, has a pretty white wife, and is Black. It'll be just like when McCain picked Palin to appeal to women voters, because that's all women and blacks care about -- someone who looks like us. :laugh:
 
Desantis is the heir in waiting. When Trump is found guilty of more crimes, some of his followers will finally be fed up and reject the thief-in-chief. Trump cannot afford to lose voters. However, the plan is to do worse than he did on 1-6 when he loses.

The courts have Trump's blatant crimes on their schedules. He cannot win them since he did them in public or on the phone. Desantis will fail running on right-wing social issues.

I disagree trump fans will care even if trump is convicted. The wing nut media has the knuckle-draggers convinced any investigation or prosecution of trump for his crimes is a "witch hunt". The Ukraine phone call and the recording of fat donny trying to bully Georgia into manufacturing votes didn't even affect trump's popularity with his low-life, tobacco-chewing base.

Even if trump is convicted, he'll continue to run and his white supremacist base will continue to support and vote for him. What it will do, if trump is convicted will be to swing back the independents into Biden's corner. Fat donny will lose again.
