She showed she HAD rented that bike. PAST TENSE. Her receipt establishes that.

She claims they pushed her bike back into the dock, which may or may not be true. A lot of people multitasking while pulling the bikes out of those doc's try to use the dock to hold the bike up while they adjust bags or do other stuff while getting ready to leave on the bike, and do not realize they have 'released' the bike by doing so, and then someone else using the App can rent it, not knowing you are there trying to do same.

She says they kept blocking her from scanning the QR code to re-rent it meaning that even though she had the receipt, it was not currently rented by her.


If the young men provide a receipt showing they actually had it CURRENTLY rented and not PAST rented, as she did, then how the altercation started will be what matters, if that time can be established. If their receipt shows they had rented it before they even engaged with her (thus taking away the he said/she said, 'they pushed the bike back into the dock forcing its release', 'no we did not') then her arguments are dead.

If he provides a receipt showing he held the active rental (and not the PAST one she did) then the reason for him to not just be a gentlemen and let her ride off is that he is legally responsible for that bike thru his credit card, and he also will not be able to use the APP to get a second bike. The app will show he has a bike he just rode off on, and if he and his friends were all going out cycling he is then stuck.

So it is very reasonable to understand why he would not let another person ride off with the bike he rented, if he has that receipt.

Yes everyone is speculating as the data streams out and we DO NOT yet know all the facts.

We know for certain, that she was trying to SCAN to re-rent the bike they were arguing over which means the receipt she shows to prove she had rented it was for the PAST and not current time frame.

it is entirely possible she accidentally re docked it and did not know, and they rented it properly, but she was confused and did not want to give it up. It is also possible they did force it back in to the dock, releasing her rental. But if the young men have their own receipt showing they had rented it properly, with a time stamp coinciding with or before this physical dispute began, then they will be proved right.

I have that App. The App is only good for one single bike rental for one credit card.

So not sure what your question is asking.

For instance, i own my own bike at home, but when i travel to a city i have friends in, and need a bike to go cycling with them, i will often rent one of these. If a friend does not have his own bike and he rents one too, that will be on his App, separate from mine.

How much you want to bet they NEVER produce a receipt. The other problem is the immediate response from brain dead leftists that this is racism. Some jackass posted that white women's tears result in black people dying. If the amount of feigned outrage leftist can produce over nothing was electricity our energy problems would be solved.

What i would bet is that if they do produce a receipt it won't change your tone and you will just shift to criticizing them on some other front.

Good questions... kind of odd that the little group was there to help their friend rent one bike...But... they have to do is show their receipt... (and once the bike was pushed back into the rack even if they had rented it first all they had to do was start over... she was already sitting on that particular bike if I'm not mistaken... I'm sure there were other bikes there...)

When i travel to Toronto and use that same bike, all my friends who live in Toronto already have their own bikes. So they come with me while i rent my ONE BIKE.

But beyond that you do not know if others are there also renting bikes with their own APp's?

So be clear, what is it you are questioning?

this is your other "front" as the video shows the young men being calm and not harassing her at all.

I have already said why if it is shown that the young man did have, in fact, the active rental of the bike, he would not just let her ride off with it, to be nice. He would be legally liable for that bike and he would be stuck, unable to rent any other bike until she returned it. She could stay out all day for free on it and he would have to pay while not being able to get a bike himself.


The only "harassment" I see is the Twitter mobs who do what Twitter mobs on every topic. But i predict (and you already are doing it) that if this young man produces a receipt you will then push that he was 'harassing a pregnant woman', thus even though he was right...he was wrong.
