There is simply no instance, NONE, where that type of report, along with all the known Trump Admin contacts with Russians they are lying about and denying, SHOULD NOT AND WOULD NOT trigger an investigations.
To not investigate should be instant reason to fire everyone in the FBI.

You don't believe Trump and associated had those multiple contacts with Russians they were denying and lying about?
I have not yet seen those denials in TrumpDerp land. I see them say 'that does not prove collusion' but even Trump, DonJr, and Manafort, etc admit the contacts and the UK report is now public via multiple investigations.
Those things all DID happen and there is no instance, NONE where those types of things happening would not just justify but REQUIRE the FB to open an investigation.

Yet, Swalwell, a Democrat got no repercussions from his actions, just like the 35 Democrats with Debbie Wassermann-Schultz leading the pack, didn't for using unvetted Pakistani nationals as their IT computer "experts" who had no background to put on a resume in computer expertise. They too had access to all sorts of classified information, not to mention the private dealings of Congress in general. Yet, nothing was done to any of them, including even a cursory investigation into what sort of intelligence failure and breach that caused. In both cases, the "investigation" was more of a cover up and putting up a barrier to avoid any of it seeing the light of day.
You are perfectly happy with a double standard pillorying Trump while ignoring the far grosser and obvious excesses and illegalities the Democrats do. I want them ALL investigated and tossed out of office if they fucked up. But of course, with roughly a third of Democrats in office falling into that category it would be catastrophic for you as the Democrats would no longer have any power in Dirty City.

Not when Swalwell was investigated for this. Adam Schiff was the committee chair with 11 other Democrats on the committee. Pelosi was Speaker. It was a complete cover up.
