'Nobody imagined it would go on this long':

The problem here isn't Dylan Mulvaney, the problem is Alyssa Heinerscheid...and the thousands of other social marxists just like her in the corporate world.

Like I stated in another thread... This is what happens when you hire some 3.8 GPA in marketing or whatever straight out of college to do your advertising. You are likely these days to get some radicalized Leftist retard that's never been out in the 'real' world and who thinks that everybody believes the same retarded Leftist stuff they do. They then enter a corporate world where they remain insulated from reality and you end up where Budweiser did.

All you have to do is read what what's-her-name said before she was canned about this ad campaign to realize that she was one of those insular radical Leftists who hasn't got a clue about how the other 80% of people think and feel. She was playing to her home team, one that despises the very people that were the core consumers of Bud Light.

Oh, there is hate in this equation, for sure. And a lot of it.

But it's not on the side you say it is.

'Nobody imagined it would go on this long': Bud Light sales continue to plummet over Mulvaney backlash

"Nobody imagined it would go on this long," Schuhmacher said. He continued: "It seems random — it struck a nerve. I've never seen anything to compare it to, in all of the [consumer packaged goods] industry. It’s a real shock."

Embrace the suck.

Yeah, Budweiser is closing up shop tomorrow

I explained it already.
Only dumbfuck crackers drink Bud Light.
If they were offended, sales were going to go down.

Do you honestly believe that Guinness,
or Stella Artois,
or any beer that a civilized person might like
would lose any sales over something like that?

I have traveled all over the western world, and some places that were not so western, and I have drank the local beer wherever it was available. Some I loved, others were tolerable, none were “bad”. I also saw advertising for many of these beers (this is my absolute favorite of all time.)

Every beer ad I’ve ever seen has basically been men doing something comical (women were always welcome, but I don’t think any man thought a particular brand of beer was a chick magnet). Remember the Budweiser “real American heroes” series? Laughed my ass off.

As for Guinness, I really don’t think they would try anything so stupid…EVER…especially now, and Guinness is an InBev brand too.

Stella Artois is the official beer of the French Foreign Legion, did you know that? Shit. The entire beer culture is just oozing testosterone. Let us have just this, huh?

The lops on the Right were fine with Bud Light up until what's-her-name came up with her "inclusivity" ad campaign. It wasn't some smuck like Kid Rock that created the problem. It was the marketing bitch at Budweiser who decided that cramming her Leftist ideas down the throats of Bud Light drinkers that created the problem. That insensitivity and tone-deaf approach to advertising was what got Bud in trouble.

It was her insular view of the world brought on by her obvious politics that caused the issue.

Leftists are idiots. They actually believe everyone is as stupid as they are.

The bolded is such an extreme characterization for sending a single can of beer to one individual.

It's hard to imagine that some conservatives feel a deep satisfaction over the disruption they have caused for Bud Light - but they probably do.

I mean, how are you proud of something like that? It's just hate, and it will likely cost some hard-working Americans their jobs.

The reality is Mulvaney is most valid to 14 year old girls who want to appear Woke to piss of their parents than to any other group. Who were they trying to get to drink their beer? I mean, seriously. The demographic of followers for Mulvaney is made up of young teen girls who cannot legally purchase the product.

Had the VP just said they were trying to appeal to more folks rather than to "evolve" away from their current market to a "new" and (by inference) "better" group, nobody would have cared. Coors Light has a Pride can, nobody at all cares about it because it isn't their entire marketing and Coors didn't tell their current market that they were no longer wanted... so, just having a Pride thing, that just wasn't the issue. The VP said they were in "decline" (third in sales of all beer for just one of your beers when you sell like 23 brands is not a decline) and they needed to "evolve" away from their current base and attract "new younger folks" then hired someone that only 14 year old girls follow to sell their stuff. There is something wrong with that... and telling the world you wanted a different (by inference better) crowd buying your beer was a bit of a mistake that even a rookie in marketing shouldn't make.

Yes I agree the VP used the phrase evolve and that pissed people off. What I dont I know is if the VP didnt know or didn't care that it would piss people off. I tend to think it's the latter as the general tendency of leftists is to think everything they do is perfectly ok to do and if you disagree you're either a hater or suffer from some kind of phobia. They think they can do whatever they like.
