See the story "I am Jazz" about serious and multiple operations involving painful mutilation and follow up procedures to make sure the created opening did not "seal up"_....or talk to a real person who's had Anterolateral thigh phalloplasty...and what that involves...or a double mastectomy when they were a teen... The "medical sources" aren't going to include the real stories of procedures that basically mean lifelong maintenance and permanent disfigurement...
