Why Is George Santos Still in Office?

No member of Congress has ever been expelled without a recommendation from the ethics committee

Democrats put forward a motion to expel Santos but the republicans said it should go through the ethics committee first as is the standard

The ethics committee’s recommendation will arrive in less then 60 days then a vote will be taken

30 years after he was out of the clan. He may have still been a bigot, but his votes were not bad. He also knew the Constitution and Senate rules. He was highly respected for his knowledge and was the go-to guy if you did not know what was allowed.

He was elected by the fucking idiots in his district.

It's not supposed to be easy to chase off somebody who was legitimately elected,
even if said office holder is as much of a dumb fuck as his/her/its constituents.

I’m sure the blacks he sent his chapter after to terrorize or possible kill didn’t respect him very much

I would paste a letter he sent to a senator when he was clan leader but it’s far too offensive yet the democrats embraced him
