Daniel Penny charged with manslaughter in Jordan Neely’s subway chokehold death

All across the nation public transit usage rates are plunging, not because of COVID, not yet because of the Recession/Depression, but because the WOKE Suicide Cults program to promote crime has resulted in transit being dangerous and soul crushing.

It only get worse from here till the Regimes anti Constitution crack down on freedom happens.

And you think blacks should be able to threaten, assault and kill others without any consequence cuz you think such a moronic stance is edgy and 'woke.'

Fuck all that.

End of story.

Of course threaten others is not okay but there is no indication that he was going to harm others. Still the extreme measure was not necessary. He would have been alive if he had done it properly.

SOS you bleated just before Jan. 6th .... then you disappeared for nearly a month and come back with a changed icon and motto, throwing your YEARS of Oather/Keeper rhetoric right under the bus!

Not only are you a coward, but a turncoat to the very cause/idealism you touted for years. So spare us all the false bravado and name calling, ya whiny little bitch!

We've got your number, toodles. Now have your hissy fit! It's fun to watch. ;)

go work on your memory retention, you constitution hating racist.

And once again, our blowhard Oather/Threeper makes a claim that he CANNOT back up with any facts or valid source material. So he bluffs and blusters to no avail.

Buzz off, ya silly assed MAGA troll (or are you going to deny the MAGA movement too?).

He was out of control and not only threatening people but saying that he was ready to die... that kind of behavior would be incredibly concerning don't you think?

You weren't there you ignorant drunk, stop being hysterical and melodramatic . Facts will come out after the investigation

And yes, the "system" did fail him....but keep in mind that it is the REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT HAS CONSISTENTLY VOTED AGAINST ANY ADDITIONAL FEDERAL FUNDING FOR MENTAL HEALTH FACILITIES FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC (state or federal).

Carry on.

His now outraged family knows... why didn't they do anything to help him until he put himself into another situation...one where he lost his life.... because he was threatening others and even threatening to cause harm to himself ..
It's unbelievable that the family actually said people didn't try to help him..
They weren't helping him..

My man, all during my lifetime I've read news stories about individuals going off the deep end and hurting people or being a public threat....people of all races, creeds & colors who had a history of such behavior. The whys and hows of family assistance vary, but the family story is rarely probed deeper than one or two paragraphs in news paper's story. Would've, could've, should've goes hand in hand with the taxpayer's society being short changed in funding for mental health facilities, social services and the like. Also, over burdened and over crowded detention and prison system contributes to folk like this being on the streets. This is why they would say nobody helped him (over-hyped and exaggerated by the family lawyer). Bottom line: we don't know what the family did or did not do over the years for this guy.

That being said and given the deceased rap sheet, I would expect the surviving family to be distraught, but not stunned. Death of any family member under any circumstances will invoke angst, anger, rage and a need for explanations.

Hope this helps.

Again, I have no issue with Penny or anyone else trying to restrain Neely. However, when you are in the process of doing something legal and reasonable, and you accidentally kill someone, their needs to be accountability. The cop who accidentally pulled out her gun instead of her taser is a good example. What she was trying to do was perfectly legal and reasonable, given the situation she was in, but she accidentally killed somebody. She was held accountable and, based on what is known so far, I think Penny should also be held accountable.
Exactly

If they are threatening to kill people certainly they should be restrained. Should those that would hurt people not be restrained. And you never answered my question.
No, mentally ill people make a lot of threats. Neely was not armed, if his verbal threats become physical threats, he can then be restrained, but not to the point you kill them.
