But giving free air time for a Trump campaign rally.
It wasn’t free, they made bank off it from charging advertising companies bank for their most viewed show in 30 years
But giving free air time for a Trump campaign rally.
Not at all, they are returning to their first five years when they were simply a news organization.
They are getting rid of all their opinionated journalists.

Free air time to Trump.
CNN star Anderson Cooper defended his network’s widely reviled town hall with former president Donald Trump, condemning “ridiculous lies” Trump told at the event, but also admonishing critics who feel CNN should never held it.
“You have every right to be outraged today and angry and never watch this network again,” Cooper said on his show late Thursday, the day after the town hall. “But do you think staying in your silo and only listening to people you agree with is going to make that person go away?”

Yes, God forbid not appearing on CNN would doom Trump to obscurity.
But it’s letting their new markets know that they aren’t biased like they were.
Expect many more republicans to appear on their network.
If they can pull off this transition it will set the standard for unbiased journalism and I think we would all love to see that
CNN needs to do something about their low ratings. Collins did a fine job. There's really not much more Collins could have done to conduct a mature exchange with that gross infant.
It was mostly journalism. I like Kaitlin Collins. She’s very intelligent and has come very far for a 31 year old. Still, I will agree she did cross over into “making the news” a few times but don’t know if that was her volition or her producer(s).
As anyone who watched it or read the transcript knows, Trump has no honor, no integrity and is a consummate liar. It would be irrational to expect Trump to adhere to the standards of a purely journalistic setting.
CNN wants to form an alliance with Trump. Good luck. Makes me want to tune in unlikely.
Yes, because you're such a loyal CNN viewer now![]()
You and I can agree to disagree on that point.Nope, CNN made news. It did not practice journalism, just as it would not be journalism by the Music Channel in the weird event they sponsored the show.
