The real threat is the jobs.

It certainly is for those who become obsolete as the buggy whip makers opined when cars started popping up. Same as it is with robots who can replace most hourly workers.

But they grew new products to apply their talents to such as saddle makers did when they saw a need to make something comfortable to sit on in cars rolling down bumpy roads. And so wooden planks were replaced by flexible padded seats.

This really shines the light on the crushing need for education to start getting more successful at teaching valuable skills like reading, writing, math and scence. Parent(s) need to start taking more interest in their children's education and right now.
