Hey, we live in a society where institutional racism is a fact of life. By lying about her ethnicity Professor Hoover was afforded opportunities that would be denied to the inferior race.

I understand her desire to get ahead and recognize that opportunities are denied to whites - she could get to the top by pretending to be a preferred race, so she did.

But not only does this expose a prominent leftist in the Educational Industrial Complex, it highlights the racism that underpins the rotted culture. Hoover was denied opportunity because of her race, so she lied to take advantage of opportunities afforded preferred races.

She saw the "Whitey need not apply" sign and decided to hide the fact she was white to avoid the government mandated discrimination against the hated race.
