2018 Farm bill and the Politics behind it.

Which legalized Hemp !Behind this bill was of all people
Mitch McConnell and a Kentucky Congressman.
Now people have unlocked much more than I think anyone thought would happen.
The gray area that Delta 8 and Delta 10 are available in most states and many states that Delta 9 is either only available medically,or not at all depending on the state,or is available in legal Cannabis states!
Fact ,gummies as strong as come from a dispensary are legally sold in most states as long as the delta 9,delta 8,delta 10 comes from hemp and not marijuana.
Vape shops are popular places to find hemp gummies in most states.
It's in its infancy what can be done with Hemp.

The defining difference between hemp and marijuana is their psychoactive component: tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC. Hemp has 0.3% or less THC, meaning hemp-derived products don't contain enough THC to create the “high” traditionally associated with marijuana. CBD is a compound found in cannabis.

Deceptive advertising. Eventually, the BBB will get ahold of 'em.

No they won't, Hemp is a legal product ,pushed through Congress by Mitch McConnell and signed by Trump!
BBB hasn't a thing to do with it!

Ahh, but remember that although hemp may be legal, the level of the chemical that defines marijuana is the point of contention. So if you're getting stoned on a product, it is in violation of the law. Now, whether someone will report such or blow the whistle is another story. This is like folk who drink a lot of cough medicine (or mix it with other stuff) to get their buzz on.

Nonsense! Whatever the level the law allows is the law!
Whether you get high or not doesn't matter!
The law is .3%! Period!
The new farm bill of 2023 might change that.

THC taken from hemp is legal ,from marijuana it's not that's the short version of the 2018 farm bill!
A new 2023 farm bill due in September will attempt to fix loose ends from the 2018 farm bill

For clarification

Your web site is dated, manufacturing has found lots of loop wholes the biggest concern Delta 8 and Delta 10 products.

Yeah, but when all is said and done the hemp plant is a serious competition to the synthetic fiber industry. So "by any means necessary" to keep it out of the public mind as something beneficial fits right in with this discussion.

Hemp is a cash cow!

Only on this level. Check into commercial growing of the plant for other reasons. Interesting.
