We separate the sports because people born one sex or another are ON AVERAGE born with different physical strengths and so it is a good way of allowing for a broader spectrum of humanity to be competitive in sports. Same reason we separate based on age. Because it would defeat the beneficial goal of more people being able to be competitive, people born men, should not be allowed to compete in woman's sport leagues.

I would not have a problem with women trying out for men's teams because that would not have an affect on who can be comparative, but separate woman's sports allows them to compete with people more likely of their strength level.

Id pay extra to watch women try out for the NFL or the NHL even better. None would make it and they would get the shit knocked out of them

I've read all of the responses here. I just see a lot of excuses to justify hate & intolerance.

There is so much talk about "sin," but adultery is a sin. Lying is a sin. We just don't see the same hand-wringing and "concern" about those w/ public figures.

It's fear & misunderstanding. I can only imagine what it must be like to be born into a body that feels like the wrong gender in my mind. I don't believe anything about LGBTQ in general is a "choice," and I just believe in respecting & allowing others to live their truth, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. It all seems pretty simple to me.

Many people ITT and others say that transgender is a mental illness. Nobody wants to have a mental illness, so why is it okay or righteous to shame and criticize transgenders IF indeed they have a mental illness? It's not okay to shame those who suffer from bipolar disease, schizophrenia or PTSD but for some reason transgender is a trigger to these people.

I saw your reasons, I think its more fear than hate. Its why you had such a hard time actually coming up with reasons.

It took you days, and about 20 different attempts to come up with something articulate and that made sense.
