But I don't think it's a good idea to get nuanced about preserving the right in the 1st trimester. Abortion should be safe & legal for any woman within that timeframe.

There is a difference between someone causing the end of a pregnancy not occurring within the body of the causer...and a woman choosing to end a pregnancy occurring in er own body.

...if a pregnant woman decides to use her pregnancy for use as a children deduction on her taxes...is she allowed to do so?

willfully and without legal justification killing of an unborn. It also only applies to a "quick" child or one that can be seen obviously moving inside the mother, approximately 18 weeks. Since an abortion is legal and the vast majority of them are performed well before 18 weeks feticide laws don't apply.
